Thankful

There is a lot to be thankful for this week, I’m beginning to feel myself really better 🙂

So, this week I’m thankful for:

– my boyfriend coming home today, he’s been absent for 13 days…OMG, I miss him so much…

– the weather being exquisite this week

– my flowers being beautiful and grateful for the care I give them

– the school being over, no more 14-hour sufferings on Monday (at least till September)

– having only two exams, a written and an oral (mind you, both are literature exams… the hardest you can imagine)

– yesterday’s half-unexpected chat with a friend during which the time till the bus flew by

– sunglasses – it makes you look better and protects you eyes at the same time 😀

– scholarship money – I have reserved a few books on an online bookstore, just waiting for the money to buy them 🙂

– my little doggy’s good behaviour during the week – he escaped a few times, that’s true, but still, I don’t blame him, he is probably bored of being alone

– my garden swing – sitting on it while drinking my morning coffee gives a good start

And finally, a great picture taken by me of one of my beautiful flowers which all the neighbours envy 😀

This week’s thankful list

This week I’m thankful for:

– the beautiful weather (I got a bit tan, I love it)

– spending the weekend with my boyfriend

– accidentally catching a Paul McCartney concert on the telly – one hour pure pleasure and silent singing

– the opportunity to work in my garden

House md – I’m looking forward to watching it in the evening

– my mother’s cakes

– cold tea – not ice tea, last night’s tea is splendid in the morning, too

– tank tops – how else to endure the sunny days?

I’m looking forward to reading your lists and enjoy this beautiful song by The Beatles! 😀

My week

My week was strange. On the one hand, good things happened to me, I met a lot of friends but on the other hand, I had to go to the dentist, I had double German on Thursday and now it looks like my boyfriend doesn’t come home for the weekend. But let’s start from the beginning:

On Monday: school was boring except two classes which were great because I like the teachers and the topics as well. I met with my friends, we talked a lot. I really need girlie time sometimes because living together with your boyfriend who is away for the week means that either you can talk only to him (which is not bad, really) or you can talk to your dog. The first I can live with but the latter is not so entertaining 🙂  I have never been the typical I-need-chick-time girl, I am rather alone that with silly girls but it’s true that everyone needs sometimes a little whining and gossiping.

On Tuesday: being at home because my German had been cancelled, doing nothing, really. Mostly thinking about my dog’s newly found vitality so that now he can jump over the fence to the neighbours’ garden when I leave home. I have found two solutions: I become invisible before I leave so that he won’t notice it or I give him huge amounts of meat that he can occupy himself with that. The invisibility thing is sadly out of question and I don’t really want to give him meat, it’s our food, so maybe at the weekend we should heighten the fence.

On Wednesday: In the morning dreading the visit to the dentist which turned out to be surprising. Pleasant surprise: the treatment hasn’t hurt at all (a first time for me). Unpleasant surprise: I have to pay for my tooth an arm and a leg. After this “little” shock my mother took me shopping, I have bought a nice pair of jeans. It’s a bit tight, but I know it will fit after a while. Nearly bought some really nice shoes but had to restrain myself because I have enough shoes! And I saw a double rainbow in the evening, it was beautiful (see picture below)

On Thursday: Taking the bus to the extra long double German. A little sunshine was warming my face, it was nice. And the lesson was not half as bad, I’m beginning to like them and I’m bold enough to speak now. I make a lot of mistakes but at least I’m trying.

And it’s Friday, and in the morning my doggy presented again his little stunt over the fence and in the afternoon too. I’m a bit pissed but hopefully we can solve this problem. And now, I have to think about what to do in the next two days if my boyfriend is working. Probably watching some movies and cleaning and doing school stuff. And eating a lot. I tend to eat really much chocolate if he is not here but in the past days my tooth problem caused me a little diet.

Have a really nice weekend, read a lot and enjoy the sunshine! (if there is any)
